only problem with vans is they do not know whos deer is whos. now if some a-hole brings in a deer that has been sitting out for a few days...i am going to be sick. i take care of my deer and some don't. not worth the risk. i think outfitter and mean mallard are the best. i was part of the fiasco at mean mallard last year, but tommy thrash and chris bates have it together now. give them another shot and you will not be disappointed. i did and i am happy.

Anybody use Lee's. The guys in my camp use them and their j&c sausage is good. I killed a buck yesterday and was thinking about running it over there.

I use Milners in Yazoo. Took a whole doe to him and had her put in extra lean ground meat and jalapino and chedder sausage. Cost me $50. I was very pleased with the prices and more pleased with the flavor of the sausage. I would much rather pay a little extra for the processng and be able to eat the meat than get a good deal and have to throw it all away.

The Outfitter, HWY 49 South in Florance. The Outfitter's special mix uses bacon ends. It's my favorite, bar none.
