You want some cheese with that wine. All I have been hearing is Bow hunters crying about rifle season opening. Ya'll have been hunting now for 7 weeks!! Shut up!! It's our turn!!

Good post. I agree. I have changed my tune. No longer will I work hard to get everything right and get a deer within 40 yards to shoot, NO, I'm gonna be lazy and sit my ass in a shooting house and shoot anything that comes within 400 yards! That's the way it's done!!!!! I'M PUMPED UP!!! WHEW!!!!!!!!! Shoot everything that walks, "it's our turn!"

NOW YOUR TALKING...

I have stayed out of this for the most part however I would like to address one issue. Regardless of what kind of hunting you value be it bow or gun it should not be a conflict between the two.
We are all out here because of the passion that we get from the heritage.
When I see different groups dogging the other because they don't use the same weapons it is another example of just how selfish we as a organization have become. When will we as a group learn to become one?
Remember the term divide and conquer? Well? we are on our way to being there.

Dat's right, I'm now a changed man. I just put a new 10,000 power scope on my heat seaking machine gun. I can't wait to get up in a insulated shooting house with my heater and lay em down out there at 800 yards. Heck yeah, I'm so pumped. Baskets, forkers, does and nubbers better lay low this weekend, cause i'll be testing the limits of my new deer getter!!!

I have changed my tune on this matter due to all the hardwork, patience, woodsmanship, and ethics it takes to be a bowhunter. From now on I see a deer, I kill a deer. Yardage shooldn't be an issue for me this year.

I love the smell of gun powder in the morning.......

Well...I don't hunt with a gun, I don't run dogs, I hunt practically bow exclusively. I might make 2-3 gun hunts a season, MAYBE. So naturally I am not looking forward to tomorrow morning b/c of the changes caused by more hunting pressure and gunfire lighting up the woods. HOWEVER, I am not against hunting with guns and dogs. I don't like irresponsible dumbarses with guns and/or guns and hounds, but I don't like irresponsible dumbarses in all walks of life. So I am not against ethical gun hunters, good ole dog hunters, or whatever. I just feel like gun season brings out alot of dumbarses into the woods and it messes up good hunting for lots of people, but it is what it is...

I even think my biggest gripe is our public lands being wide open gun seasons! I hate that. B/C they don't restrict license sale so they can't prevent our public lands from being SCOURED with guns for 2 months. I know lots of beautiful land in MS that looks the part and should be great hunting woods but is so shot to hell from Nov-Jan that you can't hardly kill a dadgum squirrel. Our public lands need to be regulated to shorter stints of gun hunting in order to keep better manage the gleaning!

And anybody that's gonna even try, feed the overpopulated BS with another sumbitch!

As usual you can't tell humor very well using typed words but I can see the hypocritical suggestive remarks in your post. Maybe simply a jabbing being funny but for some people it would be taken as a insult which is your intent and we both know that.

Gonna be Lazy?
Sit on my !@# in a shooting house?
Shoot 400 yards?
Shoot everything that walks?

Yes we get your intent. I bow hunt till gun season and I gun hunt during gun season. Bring your !@# over here to my camp and lets me show you what Lazy is and if you can keep up then you can talk your crap.

I've dealt with young men like you all my life. Having a big dick don't make you a man.

But it don't hurt! 8)

Camlock, I would almost rather take a chance with the orange army on public land than have to do that. Sorry you will miss the weekend.

Chop and WWM, I will be waiting on the videos. Good luck!!
There will be a day....

So you're saying it doesn't take any of that to hunt with a firearm?
