How much rain did we get in the area? hadn't been able to get my brother on the phone to find out.

Don't know the exact amount... stopped by Lewis Air this morning, but didn't look at the guage. We had strong downpours last night and a steady light rain since early afternoon.

Just came by Gib Steele's rice field at the tower between Arcola and Wayside, the water level is up from a couple of days ago. He is holding about 300 mallards and about 4000 snows and blues. Looks like the water level is up in the catfish ponds between Hollandale and Belzoni. A lot are emptying the excess in the overflow drains.
