Duck Hunting Commandments
You might have already seen this but, here it is again.
Duck Hunting Commandments
Thou shalt not shoot another man's swing or face the wrath.
Thou shalt provide ample space between thyself and others. If thou can't hear them cussing thee for violating commandment number one, thou art too close.
Thou shalt know the effective range of thy fowling piece.
Thou shalt not use a duck call non-stop, nor blow at everything in sight like thou art on Main Street in Stuttgart.
Thou shalt setup and tear down quickly and effectively.
Thou shalt not clean thine kill at the ramp nor at the parking lot. Nobody wanteth to smell the dead carcasses for weeks.
Thou shalt be familiar with and abide by the waterfowling regulations.
Thou shalt know the area boundaries and though you may be tempted by fowl or beast, stay within them, ere thou may be thrashed for trespasses against us.
Thou shalt leave thine temper at home. Afterall....thou art all armed.
Thou shalt work harder than most.
Thou shalt have thy duck rig ready to launch BEFORE you actually reach the ramp. Thou shalt back up straight and get the hell off the ramp so that others might prepare for wackage.
Thou should use a GPS if thou art new to Bayou Meto.
Thou shalt stop walking if it is noted another is working a group of ducks.
Thou shalt not disturb other hunters by waiting till daylight to get to thy hole.
Thou shalt refrain from speaking the name of the location of thy success on any public forum. For this shall bring forth a plague of hunters similar to locusts.
Thou shalt remove the signs of your presence upon any public land. Shotshell cases, candy wrappers, beer cans etc.
Thou shalt leave ill mannered, leg-humping, or ill trained canines in their kennel.
Thou shalt not be puffed up, boast and post pics all over the internet of thy day's bounty within thy honey hole lest ye be overtaken by rumbling herds of heathen hunters, locusts, lurkers and what not.
When the throttle of thy outboard is hammered down going across a lake in predawn darkness... thou shalt not think that thou must shineth a 2,000,000,000,000,000, candlepower Q-beam in ones eyes in order for him to hear thee speak.
Thou shalt not dig in a fellow hunters blind bag and pass around his Makers Mark as if it were thy own, unless thou wishes to have thy ass handed to thee.

Thou shalt copy and paste words from another site and use them as thine own:
