Y'all might have had to come get my ass out of jail if a Fed or any warden (or not) had rolled up like a billy badazz and run over my dog - then got out like nothing had happened. I would not have taken that too well and me and him would not have gotten along.

The only thing that kept him from getting in a serious situation was the fact that the dog survived. His attitude was that it was collateral damage - dog in the wrong place - not his problem.

I'll tell you this, if that game warden had run over my dog and acted as you say, I would have beat him into the pavement. Screw it all, prosecute me. I would have literaly beat his GD brains in. Billy Bad Asses do get shown their asses from time to time.

Know a guy that got a ticket for not having his dog on a leash at the boat ramp. Wasn't given by a warden though, but a Fairfax County (VA) animal control officer. Dog was impeccibly trained and wasn't going to do a dang thing its owner didn't tell it to do first. Ninety-two bucks.

But let me say this: there could have been a lot more tickets issued if they had gotten real mean! I know I was one of the host!

I've hunted with Oliveri before and his crew....Good people really, I've enjoyed their company and welcome them anytime in the blind...Plus they can't hit squat.

The Dixie Farms I had in mind is in Vance, and in the early 2000's was the biggest cotton farm in the state. You guys are talking about a different deal. Carry on

I don't think we are talking about the same hunt. The hunt I am talking about was not in Mississippi and I am almost positive that Oliveri was not there.

I can tell yo I have been check by every GW along the river from Desoto county to Washington county and all the one inbetween and to the east to I-55. I have never met one that was unprofessional, They are good people with a hard job. If they were not giving tickets to people who broke the law or searching you boat or going thru you blind bag for lead shot then they would not be doing their job. If you went to work and did not do your job then your booty would be fired and so would they,

Every time I have seen a GW get a little "snuffy" was because the outlaw punk new at that at that particular time he had done nothing wrong and thought he would show the GW who is who. So the GW dug a little deeper and BOOM busted for something stupid like a left over box of dove loads under the back seat of a king cab.

These guys are just doing their job, when they give youa hard time, instead of taking it as them being an booty take it as a warning that they are watching you and already know that you double dip or that you shot to many woodies or that you have been killing to many pintails each day.

As far as the "redheaded" GW in Quitman county he is one of the most honest and straight foward men that I know. If someone tells you something different then that someone is someone he is after for a whole lot more than he has already busted them for.

The only GW I have ever had a problem with is Joe Ward. He tried to write me a ticket one time for having 3 teal in my 6 duck limit. He said it wasn't teal season I told him to PLEASE write me the ticket. After 30 minutes of explaining that we had an early TEAL season and that during the regular duck season you can kill teal he let it go. But he has been a brair in my booty ever since. I know that GW in general are all just a bunch of good ole boys and have a very tough job, but a few will abuse the power. I have learned that respect will get you a long way.

JJJJJJJOE WWWWWWARD. He reminds me of Elmer Fudd. A stuttering coon booty with the little man syndrome. He used to give me and the other guys heck. Its funny to mess with him though.

I'm gonna tell him you admire him so. Considering your law enforcement magnetism, torch, I'd say you should buy some high-quality briar britches.
