Dilla Slayer

Postby CamoUp » Fri Oct 06, 2006 2:11 pm

One down....50 more to go. Hunted all last weekend. Saw 1-2-3 dilla's every @#&$ hunt. First thing Sunday afternoon here one comes.

Got pissed....when he reached 20 yds. "WHACK". He didn't flop but one time. Enough to break the arrow. But it was worth it. Tryed to crawl off but was DONE in 15 minutes...

Felt SO much better. Peace and quiet all the rest of the afternoon. :D

Heard no deer but heard no stinking dillas either.

Can't wait till this weekend.

ABTW, we killed AT LEAST 60 last season; seemed to have little or no effect on the population...

I hate em. I pinned one down on Sunday afternoon, and a buddy of mine killed 2 while we were walking in on Saturday afternoon!
Edited to add, killed another one of em on Tuesday after work. This one broke my arrow though.

I will word carefully, I dont know what the dilla limit is and I don't want to incriminate someone with Wingman, but I know a couple of fellows who got tired of seeing them and killed 33 in 2.5 hrs Sunday afternoon. Their place is infested.

Several years ago we had them on our land but, like a band of gypsys they moved on. I have not see one on the property since then.

Go get some blunt tips and keep in your quiver. That way you dont break your arrows, and you still F 'em up real bad. Plus you get that satisfying WHACK. Works good on squirrels a well.

That's a good idea, man I hate those blasted critters. They come up in our yard and root in the flower beds.

There were no dillas around in the 50's.... atleast that is what I was told. It seems that in the early nineties the population went down. I know I saw very few in teh woods or on teh highway. Now it is back up and they are everywhere. Anyone else notice this?
