Did you boys get your crops out before this big rain? Been thinking about all the farmers...saw some good looking crops as I drove through the Delta earlier this summer. Looked like less or about the same cotton this year than last and a few more beans. Saw some bodacious corn fields! I was just thinking this may play the devil with getting in the late crops. Hope y'all ain't mildewed with all this wet stuff. We still haven't gotten near enough in GA; the main rain stayed too far west and all we got was some spin off. I ain't complaining too much...we'll take what we can get!

Well, the fish are always wet around here...saw some cotton that looks bad droopy this mornin'. You know that scene in "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" where the cow is on the roof? That's my roof.

Yes the moisture did meet  It was pretty tough on the cotton, alot of rice was down from the wind week before last. Need it to stay dry til Nov 13th then start raining just enough to keep from pumping holes.

Isidore flattened the sunflowers I had left standing...about 10 acres. But..the birds are still there!
