I was thinking of riding up there to the show probably Sunday afternoon. Has anyone been to this show before? If so, what is it normally like?
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

I dont know if it was the same show or not, but I went to one in Tupelo while I was up at State and it sucked.

There is also a show in Natchez this weeken I believe.

This one is at the Furniture Market buildings on Coley Rd. in Tupelo. That's up around my home turf, so I'll be there this weekend. It's been better some years than others, but I heard that they're having duck calling and turkey calling this year. Someone said it was a competition and someone said it was a seminar. Who knows. They usually have a bunch of clothes (coats, pants, boots, etc.), some guns and bows, a bunch of trophy bucks mounted, four wheelers, boats, feeders, food, duck calls, decoys, trucks, camo seat covers, etc. There's usually a bunch of stuff to look at. I've been going every year for the last 5 years probably. Last year, they had a target range with moving deer and hogs and stuff for archery. They also usually set up that big aquarium and a guy demonstrates fishing lures. If anyone else wants to know more, let me know.

I think the duck and deer fest in West Point is coming up in 2 or 3 weeks also.....

Hey theDUCKSLAYER,
Would like to visit with you guys, but I will be going to Oxford to pick up Delta at the kennel and going on to Tupelo to check out the show for a little while. If I get back in time, I may swing by your cabin on the way home and let you see one of the two prettiest labs on the planet(of course I am a little bit biased).
If anyone wants to see labs, Wildrose Kennel will have a booth at the Tupelo show.
