please explain your "opinion" on BAMA being on such a pedistal??? you said that the SEC would be nothing without BAMA... explain your opinion.... im talking about football....... i am a mississippi fan..... when ole miss plays state i root for state but i am not die hard for either..... but I do know BAMA is not the "bomb" like you would love to think and i am very interested in hearing your opinion for why you believe this nonsense so i might better understand..... please enlighten me !!!

For starters, Sparky, is it really necessary to start another thread when there is a perfectly good one going in which you can state your nonsense?
Maybe you misunderstood my point. There would probably be SEC Football without Bama, but the magnitue to which it is now is due to ALabama's presence dating back nearly 100 years.
Here is some basic info. If you'd like, I can go through the history books and show you how southern football was not even on the map until Alabama started playing teams across the country?
I am headed to the Allman Brothers concert right now (in the rain)! Taste this for a while and we can discuss tomorrow.

If Mississippi schools spent as much time trying to improve themselves as they do complaining about being in Bamas shadows, they might get some respect.
