I don't know, I think the deep snapping has been much improved.

In Croom's defense, it is hard to gauge much improvement based upon the past LSU game, and the upcoming West Virginia game, where the Dogs are just physically overmatched this season. The remainder of the season, after the WV game, may reveal some more improvement. The Bulldogs will definately not be physically outmatched by Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and other remaining games, which should be very competitive.

i dont see it happen'n.... matter of fact i'm scared that we're going to go into a temple like rut.. you all remember temple.. once proud member of the big east or was it the acc...

they sucked so bad in football.. had like 35 losing seasons in a row... they were asked to leave the conference in football..

i'm think thats where msu is headed.. its that bad..

maybe we could stay in the sec in basketball and baseball.. but in football we could be a member of another conference.. maybe the sunbelt or conf usa... some mid to lower teir conference..

?There is good progress being made, last year Ms. Stank gave up over 40 to a chitty Arkie team last year, well they gave the 40 something up to a good LSU, they should keep Ark in the mid 30's. That my friend is progress.

It took what...12-16 plays to get a first down on Saturday? Maybe we could request a handicap system so that we get maybe 8 to 10 downs for a first down. It may just be me, but for coach croom to repeatily try to move the ball up the middle on LSU or whoever else that we've played so far is insane. (ie-definition being that continueing to do the same thing over and over again without change but expecting different results.) Ive seen D2 teams move the ball against formidable opponents, but its just the same friggen thing every week. Not until they let Omarr run all over the dam place, do we see any life in the offense. I say let Omarr call the game and see what happens. Hell, my 10 year old son can literally call what defense to run against our offense on any given play. All he needs to know is what down and how many yards and it doesn't matter what formation we are in.

State is not getting any better...more likely they are getting worse. I hate it because I really liked the hire and I like Croom, from what I know about him.

I think he deserves another year to have his players completely in the system. If things don't get much better, and I don't see that happening, he needs to be removed from the situation.

If I were on the hiring committee and he were still available I would go after Gene Chizik at Texas. If not, I would try to get someone with NFL experience (as a head coach if possible) like Steve Mariuchi (sp). You need an NFL guy with proven results who is not likely to be hired as a head coach in the NFL anymore, ala Bill Callahan. Good rule of thumb with future hire -- you are going to have to pay to play/win. Spend good money on a good coach.
