South Carolina never had the ball the third quarter, That pooch kick recovery and td drive was the difference.

Another one like the LSU game...went down to the last play of regulation. :?
USC's second string quarterback was something to be reckond with. He was a scrambling fool but, that is what happens with pressure in a zone defense and a fast quarterback. They were definitely picking on our inexperienced cornerback in the flats. That was not the same team that played UGA a few weeks ago.
Glad to come away with a win after that one.
On a lighter note there were some hot chickas up there....dayum.

With the exception of QB it was the exact same team we played 2 weeks ago  That's what every fan says after a close loss to a team they should've handled (and sometimes it's even true). Face it AU had an off night (that cornerback got OWNED all night) and was fortunate to come away with a win (kinda like UGA against Colorado    ). Williams Brice isn't an easy place to play, and I don't think Auburn was ready for the kind of defense USC played. I honestly think they expected to go in there and hang half a hundred on 'em by half-time and let the second string take over.

Don't forget they had opportunities to score agains UGA but our secondary played their receivers well and they weren't able to get anything going on the ground.

Johnathan Wilhite was the starting corner on the side that got all the action last night but, he is out with an injury and Spurrier took full advantange of it.
I would have clearly rather played USC with their starting quarterback than the former receiver, Newton, they had playing QB last night. Bottom line Spurrier had them ready to play and we were taken back how ready they were.
