To quote John Travolta: "Ain't it cool". Yeah Wingman, I stepped outside this morn and got that old familiar feeling. You know the one. How did ya'll do with the teal birds? :)

Makes Monday with the 8th grade not so bad.
Can you teach me how to do that? I never could figure that out.

Can't wait for some of that coo air to get to GA! It's sticky, hot, and humid here today. Hey, TT, how're the " hormones with legs" (8th graders) doing today? I had to go the high school route; just not enough patience with those young'uns. Ole LAduck and I are sympathetic with you for sure. He gets to retire after this year and I have just a few to go. How long you been teaching? Along about Christmas we'll all remember one of the many good things about being an educator...2 weeks to duck hunt without taking any vacation! :D

Crow, you are not joking about the hormones with legs. I don't think you could describe an eighth grader better. One good thing about teaching Jr. High, you just about get a new class everyday because they act different everyday. One day they are little kids the next day they think they are grown. I have been at this only about 2 years now. I am one of those crazy people who decided late in life that what they really wanted to do was be a teacher. Haven't regretted it so far, and Christmas is one of the reasons. And just think only three more weeks till fall break (two days). That will be a perfect time to just go sit out in the woods and relax.

Haven't hunted the teal yet, TJ. I had to check oxygen last night, if you know what that means, and on the 5 o'clock check, I HAD MY HEATER ON! Gonna go scout for some teal in a few minutes, might hunt 'em tomorrow morning when I get off work.

True...In honor of the autumn equinox, I took the afternoon off and planted food plots/put up stands (as though an excuse were needed)...
