Itasca waders?

Postby duforester » Wed Sep 18, 2002 7:53 am

I was just wondering what you guys thought about these waders. I just ordered a pair and wanted to know if it was a good investment ($60).
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

My brother bought a pair last year and had no problems, or course we hunted out of the boat all season.

The seem to be constructed much like the LaCross waders. I looked his over pretty good and decided I would try a pair.

Hwere are you ordering them for $60? Is that the neo/cordura camos?

WELL MARK,I DON'T THINK YOU COULD GO WRONG FOR 60 BUCKS. I'VE NEVER HAD A PAIR, SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S A GOOD INVESTMENT OR NOT.I DO KNOW THAT THE LACROSSE I BOUGHT HAVE BEEN GREAT. I'VE PUT THEM THROUGH SOME HARD USE THE LAST 2 SEASONS AND HAVE HAD NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER.

AND YOU SHOULD KNOW BEING FROM MORTON YOURSELF WHAT KIND OF ABUSE WE PUT ON EQUIPMENT.

WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON?, PLAN ON HUNTING ANY AROUND THE HOUSE THIS YEAR? THE LAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN PRETTY BAD,SO WE HAVE A FEW LEASES NOW.

HOPEFULLY THIS SEASON WILL BE BETTER, CAN'T GET ANY WORSE THAN LAST YEAR I DON'T THINK, I DON'T EVEN FEEL LIKE I HUNTED LAST YEAR. I'M MORE FIRED UP THAN EVER TO GO.ANYWAY, KEEP IN TOUCH, LET'S TRY TO GET TOGETHER SOMETIME THIS SEASON

CaptnT: I ordered them through an email special that I receive. They are the 3.5 neopreme waders.

MB: Yeah, I couldn't resist the $60 price tag. I needed an extra pair anyway. I wanted to have a pair that I could leave at my parents in Morton for my weekend hunts and a pair that I could keep at my house for all my other hunting. I've had my LaCross waders for 3 seasons without a leak and have been through some TOUGH stuff with them.

Yeah, I plan on hunting around Morton some this year. Hopefully it will be better than the last few years. I'm hoping I get to hunt a lot in AR this year too. Anyway, we'll have to hunt some when the ducks are here!

I bought a pair last year and hunted a break all year. Also I did a lot of crappie fishing in them. Absolutely no problems

I helped a friend sell them last year. He sold over 100 pairs of the 5 mil 1000 thinsulate through here just in this area alone ($125) one pair came back and they were replaced no questions asked. Seem to be good waders. Delta Duck hunted in a pair last year and told me the other day to get him a pair for spares. 8)

I've been reading y'alls posts for a while now and have decided to join in on some of these conversations. Me and a couple of buddies bought these waders last year and put them through some rough hunting. No problems. We are buying extras this year.
