First, let me say that I am not a dog hunter. That being said, hunting deer with dogs is a very old part of deer hunting tradition in Mississippi. Goes back a lot further than artificially growing "trophy" deer. To characterize dog hunters as fat rednecks is simply wrong. As with anything else, there are some good and some bad. Same as still hunters.

I disagree. It may be stereotyping but for the most part, that's what you see with dogs hunters. Sorry
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?

Very true, BUT, that was back when there were hardly any deer in the state, people truely had to hunt for food, and a property line didn't mean quite as much.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Well said. They want the thrill of a chace, pick up rabbit hunting. Season's longer and they'll hear less bitching!

Poor ole dog hunters. They just get picked on and shamed for everything they do. Just because somebody that knows somebody, whos uncle's; great-grandfather's; sister saw doing something wrong, doesn't mean that all do it.
Quick question. How many of you still-hunters have ever taken a dump in the woods and left the toilet paper on the ground when you finished.

answer(all of you)

Now, I know someones gonna say thats different. Your right. Because the dog doesn't wipe its booty and litter up the woods.

I hate dog hunters! Bottom line is, if i see a dog running a deer on my property and they come by me....boom, dead dog. No questions asked.

If your brave enough to set your hounds out on your 10 acres next to my 500 acres and think that they are not going to run off your property, than I am brave enough to drag his dead carcase back up to the road so you can pick him up on the way to your next outlawing expedition.

Sincerely,

Widowmaker, Dog Killer

Anyone who would shoot a dog to punish its owner is about as low a lifeform as there is. The dog is just doing what it's told ta do. You are pathetic!!!

I agree if the dog is wild and you have a wild dog problem shoot it. If a dog has a collar that is someone's dog. Just think about how you would feel if someone shot your retriever.

OK group, we have another closet case. Lets everyone join hands, close our eyes, and help support widowmaker as he expresses his true emotions for dog hunters. Come on widowmaker. You can do it. Give peace a chance.
