It is a sick feeling to watch a deer run off with most of the arrow sticking out of it's side.Stick with what cuts deep and hard.

This is direct from one of my friends that films and shoots a LOT of big game each year for primos. Yes they shot expandables and yes he said they sucked to begin with and they lost several GOOD deer because of lack of penetration. The only reason they did shoot them was because of the promo and they were FREE. They soon started shooting the FIXED blade made by the same company. Now for the good part. The new expandable called RAGE is bad to the bone. They will be shooting them this year and say they would do so only after they have seen what they did to a number of big game animals in Africa.

I've been shooting spitfires for about four years now and shot muzzys before that. I've shot 6-7 deer with them and have been pleased with arrow flight, penetration and wound channel.

Also, you don't have to wory about keeping up with rubber bands or o-rings like with most expanables.

keep on with those spitfires, there changing the way expandables are made for a good reason.

I have been looking for rage broadheads everywhere and the word in all the bow shops is that they cant get them. It seems that they started marketing themselves before they got all the kinks out and can't take on all the orders they've been getting. I ended up going back to fixed blades this year with montecs!

Why are you switching ? Something wrong with the thunderhead ? Good luck finding the rage ? I've killed truck loads of deer with the 100 grain thunderhead and i'm not changing if nothing is wrong . just my 2 cents!
