Hey I'm not talking smack...I know Bama has a ways to go. What I am saying is I'm happy to be 2-0 especially after this weekend. What they need to get going is the running game. John Parker Wilson is doing o.k. so far but if they can get that running game cranked up where it should be I think everything will be fine. They won't win the national championship or anything but another 10 win season is definetly a possibility. And yes they haven't beaten Auburn in 4 years so I guess the law of averages is back on Bama's side now isn't it? BTW....what is the overall record between Alabama and Auburn??

Alabama will have to call in the National Guard to have a chance with anyone remotely decent this year. Face it, Shula is not a play caller. He was the leagues worst in the NFL and still holds true today. He will either have to hire an offensive coordinator or get kicked to the curb.
The record is Auburn - 31 - Bama - 38 - Tied - 1.
The law of averages is for science projects, not college football.

Well I disagree. Shula is the best coach Alabama has had in a while, probably since Gene Stallings. He started out with a program in total disaray which was a disgrace for a university with the storied history of Alabama. He and his staff has made great strides over the last few years and the record of the team shows it.
Besides we both know that when Alabama-Auburn play each other records don't matter, both could be 10-0 or 0-10 they both will be up for playing each other.

Shulas first 2 years were a wash. Between heavy sanctions and major injuries, there wasnt any coach who could have done much better.
He has won 12 of his last 14 games. We'll see...
BTW, Tampa Bay was one play away from the Super Bowl with Shaun King as QB and Shula as OC. He could definitely do better than some of the offense I saw on Sunday and last night (OAK)...
Congrats Aubies on winning 4 in a row during Bamas darkest period! What do you have to show for it? One SEC Championship! Hooray!

We have a lot to show for it:
-A classy program with a great coaching staff. And Bama has a Gold Chain with a sweat shirt.
-We have 1460 days of consecutive smack talking to Bammers. You have 3 head coaches and a program on the brink.
-We have a #3 ranking and shot at something great. You have some questionable national titles that now don't mean $#!+, a 3 point victory over Vandy, and numerous excuses.
have a nice day!!

Thats a nice comparison considering you tried to fire your coach 3 years ago and your academic standards are a joke. Oh, I'm sure all the Catholics out there might take offense to the gold chain comment considering its a St. Christopher pendant.

You do have bragging rights, but as I said, consider yourself lucky based on our NCAA sanctions. Your "fortune" wont last forever. And last time I checked, we only have one HC and a program that has survived NCAA sanctions and is well on its way to taking back its rightful place ahead of the cow college to the east. How is finishing a 10 win season (which by the way is yet another record Alabama owns - Most 10 Win seasons) supposed to classify us "on the brink.?"

You have a shot just like everyone else at this point. Congrats! Let me know when the trophy presentation for being ranked #3 in the nation after the third week of the season.
We have 12 NC's. How many have you witnessed in your lifetime? I've seen 3. You got a long way to go.
When was anyone making "excuses" for a 3 point "win?' Is that possible?
Typical boogereater.
Good luck this weekend...you'll need it.

Thanks
You will probably need it more than us with your nonexistant offense. Congrats on your 30 pts in your first two games. Oh yeah, tell John Parker that Brodie called and want his frat daddy haircut back.![]()
Typical Bama historian
Wow! Mocking the QBs haircut?
The wit and intelligence level for the Aubie nation is astounding.
Keep up the good work!

It doesn't take much to make fun of the redneck crew that is the Bammer nation. More of that class I previously referenced.
Good thing you guys added all those seats to the staduim this year and backing it up with some stellar home games.
What is the point in getting in a pizzing contest with the quotemaster. You are just too witty and intelligent.
We will see how much $#!+ you talk in November after we whip that booty again at Jordan Hare West.
