Tagents: Itty bitty pieces of color coded plastic put in gunpowder and other explosives so that after you people blow something up, the government can sift through the rubble and tell what sort of powder/explosive was used, who made it, when it was made, and what batch it came from.

just as I suspected, my tax dolars at work! But do you think it may have caused my gun to jam? The gunsmith wiped his finger down in my problem area (on my gun) and showed me one. Pretty tiny, but he says it will not burn, decay, etc. He sounded pretty confident of his diagnosis.
