Whats the teal report down south?

Where have you been? The water was every where this past weekend. I mean water all over the marsh. I saw a good many teal on the PRWMA (enough to make a hunt I think). I was told my someone else that BBMWR had some birds (this is not first hand). You know about those little devils--here today and gone tomorrow. There is to be a front in the next few days, should bring in some more birds. Jack

I too have received reports of birds in the area of the marsh where I hunt, i.e. east of New Orleans.

Thanks laduck I plan on coming down that way to make a few teal duck hunts. Is BBWMA Bayou Bienvenue? I hunted teal out there and it usualy holds a good many birds.

Bodean I'm from down that way and still hunt in the area. Where do you hunt? We have hunted for many years in the Rigolets/Lake Catherine area.

Dos Gris, pick an adjective, but gobbs, tons, crap loads, which ever you pick it works for what I have been seeing. I think laduck is sayin big branch and I have been seeing them out there also. Not seeing them by the thousand anywhere but the mouth of the river, but my lease is holding decent groups on all the ponds. While triainging dogs today, saw about 50, so they are here, will they stay will be my next question.
