no bets on this one (although I will go double or nothing with GH22 with respect to his prediction that MSU would finish higher than UM in the SEC standings ---my bet would be that UM finishes higher than MSU in the SEC standings, and the bet would only be with GH22)

sure Auburn is favored and will likely win the game ---but, I think it may be closer than some think for the reasons I expressed above

I liked the way MSU's defense played, especially Culberson and the other LBs. IF they can keep Irons in check, this game will be closer than many think.

Don't bet on the dogs either way, they will screw you. I'm not a bookie (anymore) but I wouldn't touch it. That's one of those "too good to be true" bets.

It will be a good game, but I think ultimately depth on State's D and problems on offense will be the determining factors. Auburn is at least two deep at every position on defense and will sub a lot of players on the D-line to keep the line fresh. State doesn't have the same luxury. Their starting unit is top notch, but the lack of depth should show in the second half with Auburn pounding State's D with the running game. State will have to come up with some offense to make a game of it, but it will be a good defensive ball game.

You have one call. The most you can win in a double or nothing bet is twice what you've already won. So, 2 times one duck call is two duck calls.

See, you ole miss boys play a different double or nothing from what we do, because where I'm from if I just won $50 from you, then you bet me double or nothing, meaning $100....and I win again......you owe me $100 to go with the $50 I already have. Why not just bet me another $50, then if you win I give you back $50 and we're even?

I've always betted double or nothing to come out ahead on a bet, not even to where I don't owe you anything, and you don't owe me.
