Five or 6 should be plenty for a great goose whacking. I'd never consider hunting more in a spread.

Here's pictures of past getducks.com hunts in Alberta and Saskatchewan duck hunts, goose hunts, combo duck and goose hunting Anyone interested in '07 hunts yet? Contact me at 601-214-9737 or ramsey@getducks.com if so.

We're leaving in about another 5 weeks...

So fast and furious I shot top barrel only and the dogs couldn't keep up...

120 dead snow goose hunt in 71 minutes...

Nothing beats a hot lunch with friends on a real cold day, especially when the birds are flying...

This is taking them to the woodpile!

White meat too!

What I remember most about this hunt was a particular triple - greenhead, greenhead, goose...

48 dead canada geese....14.5 minute! Talk about a Canada goose hunt!
Image

...and over 15,000 birds working the field this particular Alberta waterfowl hunt - that's not black birds flying in the background!

Apologies for the large photos, but hope they were worth it!

5 outta the last 6 years we've caught snow mid-October. I want to be there when the first big snow hits. That 6th out of 6 years? It was as cold in Edmonton as in jackson and we wished we'd have gone earlier to shoot local birds or later (like mid NOVEMBER) to shoot migrators. Maybe this year...
