What is Academy football? Is that private schools where parents send their kids due to negrophobia and why do they have their own league?

Academy ball is just like it sounds, instead of public school its private, you have to pay to go there and it is a diff league. Negrophobia ha thats funny.

High School football got off to a good start last night, 22,000 showed up the Benton Bryant game in Little Rock. ASU can only dream of crowds like that.

Private schools in Ark play against everyone else, they use a multipier of 1.75 (a private school kid counts 1.75 to a public one) meaning they play larger schools to offset any recruiting that may be going on. Some (Private) dislike that, others live with it and still win.

You want to see good High School ball, check out Hoover High School, Hoover, AL vs. Union High, Tulsa OK on Fox Sports South at 8:30 Friday night. Hoover is ranked number 1 in the nation, there was a write up about them in the last issue of SI. Its a great program, wished that coach was there when I played. Also, side note, the quarterback for Hoover is Alabama's starting quarterbacks little bro.
