dont listen to anyone that says you need to buy a dr85 or anything made of plastic. especially if money is not an object. the only reason they say that is cause they cant blow a nice call. if they tell you they can blow them the same they either suck or are lying. But i would recommend getting two calls one timber one open water/medium range duck call. some good combos from some different companies go as follows and my personal choice in order:
RNT daisy cutter (or short barrel, i would recommend the sb if you are just starting out),with a RNT timbre.
Echo timber xlt with a echo timber wood (bois darc is my favorite)
i might have to end up trading in my rnts for echo tho. im gonna have to see how my bois darc timber sounds. if it sounds good i might just get a XLT. that is one sweet call!
