Sadly enough I was so wrapped up in a family crisis (my wife's grandmother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer Friday)
I didn't even realize my team was playing Sat.
From the looks of the stats the actual game was'nt reflective of the final score (41-14) Poor Boise State. Sorry I missed the excitment though.
We traveled to my great home state Sat am and just got back tonight.
Great time with friends and relatives (60+ showed up) Her original prognosis is 3-4 weeks. She is relativly healthy with the exception of diabetes.
Way to go hogs!
We'll have to wait to see what the team is made of!
How about them Hogs?

Sorry to hear about your wife's grandmother. I hope and pray everything will work out for the best given the circumstances.
Concerning the Hawgs, I listened to the game. The Hawgs played quite well. My expectations are running higher than in any recent years. Boise State is not as bad a team as might be assumed. They already had one game under their belt before playing Arkansas and they were projected to win their conference. Arkansas played several subs, including three different QB's, otherwise the final margin could have been much more lopsided. The 14 points scored were allowed by mostly subs. Enough rambling, but I'm excited about this year's squad. It looks very promising.

Did any of you see Alabama piss it away in the last 2 minutes of the game against #3 Oklahoma? That damn Tyler Watts will always find a way to screw things up. I sure will be glad when that worthless P.O.S. is gone that way maybe they won't have to pay for lineman (albert means fiasco) to give him the extra few seconds he needs to make another bad decision in the pocket. He has been screwing things up for 4 years now...enough is enough. And who is paying the coaches off? When asked what if any secret weapon they had in store for Oklahoma. They replied "Tyler Watts....and his leadership ability." Sh*t he couldn't lead a round object down a steep hill.
Dutch Dog,
I always pull for Arkansas first, but I also pull for every SEC team when Arkansas' not playing them. I watched Bama play OU, and Bama had that game until the mis-handle. I know Watts and every Bama fan has re-lived it a thousand times since yesterday. That one reminded me of the Arkansas loss to UT a few years back when Clint Stoerner gave UT a gift..and a win. Those are always the hardest ones to accept. Just keep the faith. Can't keep a traditionally great team like Bama down for long.
