Firefox?

Postby Jeff » Tue Aug 29, 2006 11:21 am

Okay it's taken me all morning to figure this out. But if I try and come over here with Firefox, I can't acess the boards, it acts as though I am not logged on, but I am. I am able to check my private messages, but not anything else. Anybody else having this problem? If I use explorer I have no problems it seems. Weird.

Go to Tools-->Clear Private Data and select all the options. Clear everything out and close Firefox. Reopen it and then log back in. I use it w/out problems.

It's gotta be a cookie issue. I'm running Firefox exclusively.

it was definetly a cookie issue, as I followed rjohnson's tip and it worked like a charm.

Micah - It is a cookie issue. Mozilla & Firefox will show a member as logged in but will continue to redirect them to the "Forum Index" page loopity loop if they attempt to go to any forum except "Tehnical Issues". That forum you can at least read but not post with stale cookies.

rjohnson has good instructions. I was going crazy there for awhile.

You can have the same problems with Internet Explorer. Thanks for posting the info in the Technical forum!
