I saw 4 groups of teal totaling about 100 birds in the Grenada Lake bottom near Sabougla yesterday afternoon. The teal birds have arrived. Just hope they plan to stay for two or three more weeks.

 A fellow fowler I hunt with told me he saw about 15 to 20 come in and work the pond in the middle of the golf coarse that he frequents. He said he watched them for about 10 minutes working back and forth surveying things and finally landing. He said the guys on the hole behind him had a disgusted look on their faces like, What the hell is this guy's problem. Some people just don't get it. I told him it was an omen telling him to put the clubs away 'til next Spring.
