KC's in Cleveland, order the wild game preperation. Usually tenderloin of elk with this great rasberry sauce. Kind of pricey in the 35.00 to 40.00 range but o so worth it.

My favorite burger is at the benoit outing club. Thats good stuff. If yall wanna talk about upper scale restaurants, some of my favorites are lillo's and doe's. The blue levee in rosedale is pretty good also. I used to go to crawdad's pretty regular, but its gotten to damn high. It still has good food if you can afford it.

Crystal Grill in Greenwood. I wouldn't wear muddy shoes in there, but camo is acceptable.

Phillips Grocery in Holly Springs has got (according to USA Today) the best burger in the country. It's a hole in the wall, but GOSH DAYUM those burgers are good.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

DD. Where is the Philips Grocery in Holly Springs? Only one I know is the one in Oxford across from the hospital. Speaking of burgers. They make a mean one at Dale's in Batesville. Better yet hit the original Dale's on stateline in Southaven. Plate lunch heaven. I ate at Love's sportsbar in Hernando the other day and had a pork chop 3/4" thick I could cut with a fork. So much food I couldn't see my plate. All for $5.99.

On the other end of the spectrum if you want the best with cost as no object you have to eat at the Parker House in Ridgeland. Duck quesadillas and crab stuffed mushrooms to start followed by a 28oz bone in ribeye topped with southwestern crawfish sauce...and scenery to rival Oxford.

Then there's Oxford. Where to start...Yocona, Old Venice, Ajax, Proud Larry's, BottleTree, PizzaDen, Petra, Two Stick, City Grocery, Boure`, The Beacon and the list goes on.

Damn I'm hungy.

I've eaten there.

I think so. Right in the middle of the thriving metroplis of Satartia. Has a big sign out that says Davis Gro and a catalpa growing along side. I used to eat four chicken legs and a pint of chocloate icecream. Talk about good stuff.

My wife's 95 year old grandmother's place for Sunday dinner every Sunday.  There are only two excuses Ms. Inmon accept for missing her Sunday dinner. You either better be out of the country or dead.

BMF is right on with the burger recommendation. Benoit Outing Club. And they have the best club sammich.

The Southern Grill is a great place for Breakfast in Cleveland. $4.00 will get all you can eat and a drink, sometimes  !

Wingman, you should try Vera's in Webb (aka, Webb Diner). Best REAL soul food ever.
