well duh...funny thing is Blake barnes is tied for third on the depth chart with true freshman Matt Stafford. Honestly, I think we can be competative with Joe "three sticks" starting...of course there is supposedly a very real possibility of 3 QB's playing in the opener...so nobody is sure how long he'll last. The big key is gonna be running the ball, if we do it well and take pressure off of him, he may have a chance.... All in all this is the worst I've felt about a team in the Mark Richt era...the O-Line isn't deep at all...and a new QB (who thankfully is tough as nails at least), don't give me a lot of confidence....but our defense can play a little....and so can our RB's...kinds reminds me of a Bama team from 92 (at least I can dream)
Richt thinks he at least deserves a chance and since nobody has been clearly better than Tereshinski I agree...I don't look for any big numbers, or even to intimidate anyone with him...but if he doesn't make many mistakes we ought to have a decent shot at beating some folks.... the big question to me is how well the team will rally around him...most of the kids love Joe Cox (the number 2), but I'm not sure if they feel the same way about Tereshinski...and if they don't believe in him UGA is screwed....
Oh, and I saw the only Heisman bumper sticker that has come out of UGA since Herschel played...it read "JOJO FOR HEISMAN - WP" now there is one I'll put on my truck
