"Po Monk, what is you predicted score for the Memphis game?"
I think the Rebs offense will crank out 4 TDs against Memphis, and we will get one more TD either from the defense or special teams (punt return or kick return). Add a field goal or two by the Rebs, and the Rebs roll over Memphis 41 - 17. Memphis will get a first half TD and field goal and a late game TD against our 2nd and 3rd team D.
I don't think Joe Lee has the hosses on defense this year to get away with a lot of blitzing ---especially since the Rebs have some playmakers this year who can produce some big plays if Memphis blitzes a lot (Shaeffer, BJGE, McSwain, Lane, M. Green, D.McCluster, etc. ). I think Joe Lee will first try to play it straight up, dropping folks back into coverage to try to confuse Shaeffer and limit the Reb passing game and big plays to make the Rebs have to earn each TD by driving the length of the field. However, as the game unwinds, I think the Rebs will prove to be too strong for this strategy (better athletes and quality depth than Memphis), and Memphis will resort to the blitzing and other gimmicks, which the Rebs will take advantage of with some big plays. For the most part, I think the Reb D will keep Memphis in check for the entire game. My predicted score allows for one first half big play by Memphis on a busted assignement by a UM defender.

"Jackie did for $15 mil, and it'll be years before that case is ever finished. "
The difference is that Powe would actually have a legitimate case. Sherill's case is stalled, primarily due to the lack of pushing it by his own legal team. The longer the case just lingers, then Jackie has a longer time to use it as a talking point for all the other jilted wallflowers in the college football world who think the NCAA has done them wrong. Helps his radio show ratings and ties into the Jackie against the NCAA and the World theme. Pretty clever actually.

"UM will be lucky to get 41 rushing yds"
GH22, I will wager one Echo acrylic duck call that Ole Miss will have more than 41 rushing yards in the first quarter. I win, you buy me the Echo call of my choosing. You win, I buy you a call. Put yer money where your mouth is big boy.
2 of Memphis's starters on the D line are former Rebs who quit due to lack of playing time and inability to crack the two deep. I think big Michael Oher and John Jerry can take em to open holes even I could run through.

bigwater...... i said no problems with O, meaning coach O, not the offense....
the WR's are talented, but very inexperienced...... the line has finally started coming together.

Oh, I'm sorry ---we had an offer and an acceptance ---did not know we needed further confirmation.
Yes, you are double dog on!!!! One or two good rips by BJGE or Mico against that Memphis D comprised of some former Rebs who "quit", and I've got a brand new Echo call ---yet one more call I can't use.
