2001 PALS Sporting Clays Tourny
The 2001 PALS Sporting Clays tournament was held at the Willows Sporting Clays complex in Tunica MS on August 19, 2001. As near as I could tell, there were about 80 shooters, and 12 5-man teams in the team competition.
As usual, congratulations are in order for our own DeltaDuck, who came in runner-up, being narrowly edged out by eventual champion, Scott Conlee (88). Delta Duck also won the 5-stand comp with a 22x 25. (Hey DD, ya can be yer own press agent next time
The team shooting challange was won by the team of :
1) Delta Duck
2) Scott Conlee
3) GulfCoast
4) Peyton Aven; and
5) Jeff Pappasan
with a combined score of 405 x 500. They won by a 40 target plus margin, despite the severe distraction described below.
Delta Duck, Gulfcoast and Peyton Aven were second in the 75 target duck flush, loosing first by ONE STINKING TARGET to Brian Calloway and some of his friends from Natchez. The Natchez contingent also finished second in the team comp.
I cannot recall the other Lewis Class winners, other than Peyton Aven.
The highlight of the shoot was clearly when the 5 individuals mentioned above in the team competition were suddenly and throughly "mooned" by a highly attractive and somewhat intoxicated lady from Memphis who was riding the back of a golfcart. This clearly flustered DD and cost him a rabbit. It was definitely one of the top 3 moons of my career, and the first time someone has shown me thier buttocks while I was holding a shotgun. I will take the 5th Amendment on any further details. Guess ya had to be there!

We had a good time. I think part of the shoot will be aired on Mid South Outdoors this Sat. I got the honor of going around with Jeff Woods and some of the ladies of PALS Fri. They did shoot some video.
Scott, is a good friend that has worked very hard and shot alot, He has paid his dues, I,m proud of him. Scott lives in Senatobia.
Judge, you should come over and pop a cap with us some time. It is a very nice course and plenty of golf carts are there to ride.
The girl that mooned us was with Jennifer Reed of Rock 103. Nicky was her name. I did tell her "Oh thank you"

Scooter,
I been thinking about them boys from bama and to ease my mind I just said they practice shooting clay's during duck and goose season because they don't have anything else to do.

She was on there Friday with some kind of vaginal cream that was supposed to increase a female's sensual pleasure. She is called Nicki the lipstick lesbian. The Wake Up crew asked the question a couple of years ago--" If we can put a man on the moon, then why can't we put a man on her?" She is one good looking babe.
