A couple of years ago I was talking with Buck Gardner and he told me that RNT had the rights to sell duck calls at the Oregon stadium during games, "Duck Call Concesions" and that he sold over 8,000 calls per game!
Being a Mississippi boy and having played ball for 12 years I can only imagine trying to concentrate with 70,000 duck calls going off in a stadium. Damn Oregonians!

You would think that Oregon would turn out a duck calling world champion with the number of calls sold. Maybe we should abandon the cowbell and bulldog mascot for duck calls and a mallard mascot. A duck call is easy to sneak in and doesn't set off metal detectors. I think it would be pretty cool to play for the Miss. State Mallards, the only team in the nation with Mossy Oak uniforms. What do you think?

Bent.... your topic scared me. I thought you had counted the duck calls hidden in every nook and cranny of my rolltop desk....
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.
