Who's got the doves?
Who's got the doves?
When I started preparing my field here in central Hinds county I was covered in them. And I have been for some time now. But here recently when the food was in utmost abundance, I have seen very few if any. I was wondering if anyone knows where they went or what I could be doing wrong. I know a few miles down the road a local farmer has started cutting corn, but most of the local fields still have birds, just not mine. I don't know maybe I'm just being too paraniod.

Been cuttin some milo myself but seems every year bought this time all the LAZY a$$es just beak up a 5-10 spot and pout the wheat to it. My birds scatter just like clock work. But second or third week what survived come back because everyone else is done hunting them and I keep knocking down sections of milo and sunflowers.
But I do have a LARGE contingent of the Eurasain/ringnecks. I counted 52 sitting together in one spot Sunday afternoon. And more flying around from tree to tree. Low and Real slow
