I'll give you the food part!!!
My friends, roommates, etc. that are die hards at LSU can throw some food for tailgating! I love some fried chicken and finger foods, but a damn fish fry, gumbo, jumbalaya etc. They do that right...
I got bunch of friends I've met here that I tailgate with, then I've got family and friends from Jonesville and around Natchez that we all party together, and they do a big tailgate.
Most the crap I've seen at LSU is Baton Rouge and surrounding area city punks that really got no education no nothing, they don't give to the university they don't travel they don't do shat they just go down Nicholson on gameday, get drunk and act stupid...they don't go to the game....you know the type I'm talking about. No regard for SEC football and tailgating and all that stuff...they just wanna get drunk and act like f'ing idiots in, like Mardi Gras or something...

I share Camlock's opinion that LSU has more than our share of idiots and that 95% of them have never attended LSU or any other college for that matter. They take everything to the extreme and take it personally when LSU loses. People like that have their whole week ruined by losing a football game that they are not personally involved and have no input in. I am truly embarrased by these people and if I ever see anybody acting like Camlock describes, then I would be one of the first people to try to stop the misbehaviour. If anybody comes by our tailgate, regardless of affiliation, and can take a little Tiger Bait yelling, then they will get a heaping helping of whatever we are cooking, more Abita than they can handle and a open discussion of the day's game.
But, I will say that my wife and I have vowed to never return to Oxford after our treatment there. I know the majority of Ole Miss fans are fine and upstanding members of the community and they have their share of idiots, as do all schools. But, when sitting inside the stadium in our seats and having glass beer bottles thrown at us from the Ole Miss student section, having an elderly lady curse us out, having cokes and nachos raining on your head when in line at the concession stand and a drunken Rebel along with a bunch of his buddies jump in front of me and my wife and start yelling on the walk back to our truck, kinda makes me not want to go back. We left that night and drove the 5 hours back to BR because we truly did not feel safe.

You hate things are like this anywhere you go...it's pathetic! Just a shame there are things like this go on around the country at any school! I can understand the crap between the frats and college kids and all I mean it's college ya know, but when adults and stuff get involved, I really don't get it???
I did see one Ole Miss guy, frat looking guy, after a game start getting really out of line with some opposing fans, and a couple other Ole miss fans got on his booty, one grabbed him and slammed him up against the stadium wall and told him we don't act that way, and it was a large fella, he shut up! He got embarrassed in front a ton of people by his own fellow fans...it's was pretty cool actually.
Oh well, long as dumba$$ are born then there will be these converstaions

Since you asked, here you go.
“Unsupervised†really started to come together sometime during the mid to late 90’s while many of its members were in the middle of their college days at LSU. Several future members headed out of town for a drinking weekend without their “significant others†– they were truly UNSUPERVISED for the weekend, and a group with a mission was born.
Our initial tailgating efforts included a tiny trailer located over on Nicholson by the railroad tracks. We quickly outgrew that trailer and were forced to construct a new and improved trailer/tailgating party platform. Our members include many with different skills and trades, and the creativeness and “over the top†attitude towards tailgating really started to show in this 2nd trailer.
Somewhere along the line, someone threw up the idea of buying a school bus and converting it into an RV. We had observed several commercial ventures operating school bus conversions, but we had yet to see one sporting the Purple and Gold. We were lucky enough to find a 1982 Ford School bus for a whopping $600, and The Unsupervised Bus was born. Check out the T.U.B. section of our site for the rest of the story.
Due to our move into T.U.B. we were forced to leave our old home on Nicholson and set up shop in Touchdown Village #367. We’ve continued to grow each year, and we strive to be as loose and free-wheeling tailgate as you can find – we welcome all who are looking for a good time and want to support our Tigers along with us.
We have food at most games, and proudly serve ABITA beer at each and every game, including our road trips.
