No offense, but tailgating at USM Conference USA showdown, ANYWHERE ON CAMPUS....versus the Grove on an SEC weekend ANYWHERE IN THE GROVE??? HMMMM....best of luck on the swaying there bud! Better try something other than football season and tailgating to win CUSA over SEC! :D

DUH!!!!

Nobody wants to loose. But yall do have more practice and might even be poor sports when yall win a game.

camlock, I'm not aruging who's school is worse, I'm just going off of what I've heard alot of folks talk about. I've never been to a Ol' Miss game for that reason and I will likely go to one just to see what it's about. I have been to 'Bama and FL Gators games and both places were awesome to visit. I'm heading to TN this year and will see that all the talk is about for their stadium over there. Likely will bring my boat to run the river and be able to get to the game easier than walking or driving.

I agree with you that it's all impression by what others see at that time. I've personally never seen something being vandalled, but everyone has picked on visitors walking by, myself included. I've never seen anyone make contact with someone during any hazzing of the sort, but not saying that hasn't happened either.

When I go tailgateing, we are there to have a good time and enjoy ourselves. This means cooking our butts off and watching any games taking place on TV before we head to the stadium.

Some people do go to far with things, but there's always bad people in the crowd, no matter where your at.

See you should listen to me then! I KNOW :D

I have been to nearly every home and a TON of away games at Ole Miss for bout 7 years and many sprinkled as a kid beyond that. I sit basically in the student section....ALSO, I live in Baton Rouge and before marriage lived with two of the most rabid LSU fans in town. One of them, my cousin, is the infamous Tiger Lee, from the plane ride to ASU game last year that made the news & the paper and sold the t-shirts. "Somethings in life just can't be comprimised, LSU football in one of them..." Anyways, they all big time tailgaters, I been to MANY tiger tailgates, many Ole Miss games in Baton ROuge....many everything...and LSU fans at large (some good friends of mine included) are ridiculous. I also have some pretty rough Rebel friends, but they can't hold a candle. I have seen Georgia fans tipped over in a porta potty....I saw another Georgia guy beaten half to death in front of his two little boys, and he said nothing but please watch your mouth in front my kids. I saw a lady walking with her husband at the TN game on Monday night in Baton Rouge last year....a drunk LSU guy run up to her, grab her and start dry humping her....50 year old LADY! And they all dared the man to do anything...A friend of mine who lives here in BR but is a TN fan, got cheetos and orange juice dumped ALLOVER him walking through the RV lot...I saw the Auburn Tiger van with the tiger tail, beaten and burnt....etc. etc. and that not including the VAST number of obscenities and stuff like that said and done in front of women and children.... I have seen drunk OM boys start fights with other school fans, but each time it appeared to be other college guys. I have seen Oxford police have a SHORT leash with LSU fans...but nothing to the inhumane type nature I have seen in Baton Rouge...I haven't seen that ANYWHERE but Baton Rouge, and I have been to all but 4 SEC stadiums (SC, Kentucky, Vandy, & Auburn)...I have seen every fanbase and only gotten into it with LSU and State fans....I alos see about 2-3 confrontations a year in the 6-7 homegames at Ole Miss...I literally see 2-3 every game if not worse, that I attend in Baton Rouge.

I live here and I got lots of very respectable friends here, but I am married now and my wife and have talked seriously about not going to the LSU game this season b/c it's an issue. Especially with her being an attractive 25 year old girl, who knows. Sounds stupid, but I have seen it ALL down there. ONLY way I'll go is if I am at her company, my compnay, or a trusted parties tailgate and I don't have a long walk to the car. I joke on here alot, but I am seriously not joking about this...it needs to addressed b/c one day something serious is gonna happen at an LSU football game...mark my words... Last years TN game did it for me...I saw 6 fights...I saw that lady be pratically molested, my friend totured and orange juice and cheetos dumped on and a group of elderly TN fans spoken to worse than dogs...that was the worse I've ever seen and I won't trust that again...not with my wife and certainly when I have kids...

I tell you one thing, ANYTHING like that ever happens in Oxford to anyone, I will be the first to put some gay booty OM frat boy in his place...That the one thing bout LSU I don't understand, nobody tells these idiots to stop...

By the way I never ever drink too much at a game. I drink the same amount before every game wether it be at 11 (last year vs Alabama) or the very late games. I drink the same each game

Well you can definitely tell that it is Summer and ya'll are riled up. Goodness, three pages and it's still going strong. No need to apologize Po' Monk. With this crowd, would have been surprised at anything less.

I'll tell ya'll the only problem I have ever had at a football game was the last time USM played State in Starkville. After the game my wife and I were going back to our car and a drunk State frat rat came up to my wife, about seven months pregnant, and started making all sorts of disgusting comments to her. Decorum prohibits repeating what was said, but, it got out of hand. I asked him to stop and he asked what was I going to do about it. I knocked the schit out of him. I was about 175 then and in a lot better shape. He dropped like a sack of potatos.

I thought oh schit, his buddies are fixing to knock me in the dirt. To my surprise they told me to take off, he deserved it. They'd tell the cops, if they showed up, that he fell out drunk. I never heard anything else about it. Pretty sure the statute of limitations has run by now.

I'll personally invite you to come tailgate with us if you ever see a want to. I haul a 55 gallon drum BB pit out there and we usually have it full of meat cooking. I bring one of those canopys and set up shop. We do talk to the people walking by, but nothing near like going hump a elderly ladies leg. Our group has parents that raised us with enough sense in our lives not to do something like that.

I'm trying hard to find tickets to the ULL vs LSU game in Sept. Two local teams duking it out. IMO, it's more than LSU playing Tulane. ULL (once USL) is only 25 minutes away from me and although I've never went to either school, it still hits at home to see these two teams play. Red and Black versus Purple and Gold.

Cam I suggest you start hanging out with a new group of friends. I have been going to LSU games for 27 years and I have missed very few in that period of time(including my four years enroled at Ole Miss). I have never seen anything nearly as bad as what you have just described. Fights yes but I saw Ole Miss students get in fight when I went to school there. The difference is that the averge Ole Miss frat boy usually looses the fight as opposed to the average Tiger fan who makes short work of the challanger. As far as the 50 year old woman that got dry humped, that slut had it coming.

Just remember at the next LSU-Ole Miss game I will be the guy Tiger Baiting you and hollering go to hell Ole Gay.

U seem to be a primary example and are proving my opinioins nicely! :D

I'm sure you've never seen anything going on, yall never do...

as far as the woman, I know or I hope you are kidding, but the woman was a co-worker of mines wife who recently (like almost 2 years but whatever) moved here from TN to take a job within our company. They are very good people and respectable people. It's truly a shame...and I was sharing with Bourbon over lunch today, that I probably won't be attending the next Ole Miss/LSU game in BR, b/c my wife doesn't wanna go b/c of things said to her in the past b/c she was an Ole Miss fan. She is literally unnerved and afraid to attend...that is pittiful because we live here in Baton Rouge and we travel all over the SEC for football, never has she had an issue outside this...and it ain't go to hell and tiger bait whatever, that awefully cute and more pathetically obnoxious, but that's cool, whatever...coonasses are much like mexican or hogs, they don't know how nasty and stupid they are they just wallow in life....it's when it goes beyond the chants and whatever, thats too much...
