I think the truth of the matter is that they were already drunk, nearly passed out, and had been assisted to the stadium to their seats for pre-game recovery. But, I plan to try again this season. May have to start searching earlier in the process.

It was pretty difficult to find. I would set the damn thing up at night and still had problems finding it after visiting other tents and graciously accepting a few libations. :D Rebelduckaholic was the only one who never had any problems finding it. That man could find it no matter his condition. Coupla times we came back from the game to find him passed out under the tent. He swears that he would always just find a green and white tent and collapse underneith it, which means that his homing instincts must be pretty damn strong. Far as I know, nobody ever found him snoring under the wrong tent.

Seymore, ask her if she really want to go to a school that had to cancel the annual Christmas manger scene because they couldn't find three wise men and a virgin!

or...... if she'd rather go to a school where they couldn't have homecoming because the "queen" kept grazing at the 50 yard line

Now, RY, you know that is why the Rebels spread cow crap on the field at homecoming...to keep flies off the Homecoming Queen.

Don't try to keep up with me; I've been working with teenagers for 26 years and have learned so many put-downs that I could cut you so low you could sit on a dime and swing your feet!

I will just say, it doesn't matter which MS school she attends, our LSU boys will still kick her football teams butts.

She can come tailgate with us at LSU and maybe she'll learn there's greener grass on the other side of the border. 8) 8)

I'm sorry you have the wrong college. But we do know how to cook, party and have a good time. :D

Last I remember Ol' Miss has the reputation for being the worst game to go to. They vandalize visitors vehicles like crazy up there.

does she really wanna live in a town where the only good thing to ever come out of it is Highway 12 ?

DO WHAT???

Ole Miss the worst? I have heard some bad things and seen some bad things in my years at Ole Miss games as with ever school; inversely I have never been to a single LSU game in my life that I didn't see some BULLSH!T going on....as on opposing fan perspective AND as a neutral perspective. I live in Baton Rouge!!! I seen plenty. I have had some good times at LSU games, and I know alot of good folks, like yourself I'm sure, but there are also more drunk irrevant trash roaming around than ANYWHERE by far...I personally watched an Auburn vehicle burn where it was set fire by LSU students...I have several friends that have had there cars vandalized...I got my truck keyed b/c of the Ole Miss sticker! Never seen anything of the sort at an Ole Miss game...not to say it's never happend, but none of the stuff goes without at any campus, but LSU takes the cake BY FAR... 8)

I appreciate the thoughts and prayers. All is not lost though. Her paternal grandfather, who is a big wig at USM, has arranged for her to tailgate at the alumni house on campus this year followed by viewing the game from the president's box. Dad said if that doesn't work, we are going to hire an exorcist and have holy water sprinkled on her.

When I told the little snot at lunch about it she said she didn't want to go.  She is wanting to take drivers ed and is going to need insurance. See if I foot the bill for that.

And another damn thing. Her mother, my lovely bride, is buying her Ole Miss paraphernalia. I came in the other day and she now has an Ole Miss bed spread and an Ole Miss Purse. This is the same woman whom I went to school with at USM and bleeds black and gold and much as I do. Talk about being an enabler.  She has got to learn that you have to tell your children NO for their own good sometimes. Any child will want something that glitters and is shiny when placed before them not knowing the evil dangers that lurk beneath.
