ANY OF YALL DOING THE SURVEY WHERE YOU SEND THE WINGS OF YOUR DUCKS AND TAIL FEATHERS OF GEESE TO US FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE. THEY SENT ME LIKE 100 ENVELOPES AND INSTRUCTIONS. THEY ARE GOING TO USE THE INFO TO SET LIMITS AND GET A HANDLE ON THE AGE OF BIRDS HARVESTED AND THIER OVER ALL CONDITION.

Yep. They sent me about a 12" stack of "inner" and "outer" manilla envelopes, and instructions. At least they are not asking us to pay for postage.
So many ducks, so little time....

GC,
Did they send them to all that hold waterfowl licenses/stamps or was it random? Haven't gotten anything. Need to call MDWFP anyway because my Sportsman's License doesn't have "MB" on the bottom.
There's a reason it's called fishin'& huntin' instead of catchin'& killin'

I filled out something several years back stating I would be interested in participating in the study. I think they're aging the ducks, as well as several other things. I did it for a while. It was neat to get some info back on some of the ducks I had killed.

'Cephous'.....It's a random thing........my wife is actually the one that got the survey and the envelopes, THIS time.

On her instruction sheet, it says only send in specimens killed by the survey participant.

I 'bumped' a discussion from June 25th ( FYI), on same topic.

'Keith'.......they're 'aging' the duck hunters. Hehehe
