Pearl River WMA / Bonnet-Carrie Spillway

I need to go scout out the areas mentioned above, but I was wondering if these WMA's (or parts of them) were accessible without boats, pirogues, etc. Thanks,

PRWMA is bordered on the west side by a road you can drive on and pretty much scout the whole area from your truck.. If you want to get out in the water you probably gonna need a boat, this time a year it is going tough going with all the vegitation in the water.. A canoe or small jon boat and a paddle is going to be your best bet..

You can hunt wood ducks in PRWMA all day long without a boat, may need a dog for retrieveing. Bonnet Carre you will need a boat for, not many ducks there, would be better off looking else where.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to have to get a map and go scout it one of these days. I'll post any pertinent info shortly thereafter.
