Last I checked, State, probably against their better judgment, hadn't cancelled football season. And as far as I know, the QB situation in Starkville isn't what most would call rock-solid. So why the obsession with Brent Schaffer? The kid'll either play for Ole Miss or he won't. That affects Mississippi State precisely once each fall. But you're all acting as if he doesn't come to Ole Miss, State automatically wins the National Championship. I would think that just replacing Norwood would be enough to keep State occupied, much less all the other areas of concern like, *gasp*, the quarterback. But apparently State's headed into the ranks of the undefeated, because all yall got to worry about is the little ol' quarterback at Ole Miss.

Just do us a favor. Remember that everybody laces up their cleats one at a time and anything can happen on any Saturday during SEC play. So far, you've promised Arkansas victories over UM, MSU, and Bama. Maybe more, but those are the ones I remember. I bet you dollars to donuts that if the Piggies lose one of these games, your booty will be gone until the next spring or maybe late winter if Ark. basketball is making any noise.

There's a bunch of assanine UM/MSU stuff on here all year round. But, we're always here, win or lose. No sabbaticals hoping that you and webbie have forgotten that we lost to Vanderbuilt. We'll be here. But will you?
