looks great, just don't like having to move my browser to see the whole message. Otherwise it is much better.....

Man it seems since we changed that the screen refresh rate has gone to pot. I can post a reply and count to 10 before I get the screen telling me that the new post has gone through.
Also when I first get to the site it takes forever for the index to come up.

It may be me but it's doing it from work and home and is much much slower than what I had from this site earlier.

I do like the new look and hope I can figure a way to make it faster.

I'll investigate duckmen. The database is rather large due to all of the old post being imported. That could be causing some of the issues.

I've seen a noticeable improvement in the performance from both home and work, so I don't know what it might be causing the poor performance on your end.

Is anyone else experience slow response times?

If you would post a little about your computer hardware when you comment on the performance (good or bad). This will help me determine the potential causes of performance issues.

Thanks for the help!

Seems about the same from work or home although I notice the new one loads all at once(after a sec. or two) instead of tricklin' in.(dial up modem in both).

Man it took 45 sec to bring the screen up this time just to make a reply. It was showing http://www.ducksouth.com/phpbb/posting. ... ply&t=3202 at the bottom of the screen but did finally come up.

Micah is there anyway for us to change our color preference on the forum. The side and lower slide bars or hard as heck for me to see as the color blends so much. I can barley see the minus and plus signs on either end. Getting old is hell. The colors are very hard on the eyes.

Thanks for any help

Amen to what Duckmen said about the colors, especially on the side.

I'll update the scroll bars as soon as I get a chance.....I don't like them much myself, but they came with this theme. I'll have some time this evening to get that updated.

The 45 seconds seems very odd. I'm getting response times of less than one second, even at home on dial-up.

What browser are you using?

Micah:

From my end and considering the connection speed (T1) it is fast. Except for the color theme, it is a good improvement.

LOL......Everyone list their suggestions for changing the colors scheme. It seems that most have some of the same complaints. I'll do my best to change the board, but this one is a little new to me. You'll have to bear with me while I experiment.

Thanks,
Micah
