Opinions on Bow Shops in the Jackson Area
Alright Jackson boys, lets hear some feedback on yall's opinions on the best bow shops in the Jackson, Ridgeland, Madison and surrounding areas.
I haven't found one I'm happy with yet.

I'm personal friends w/ Joe in the bow shop at the Mean Mallard, and he knows his stuff, IMO. If anybody else is working the shop I won't let them work on my bow. Their indoor shooting range is pretty good too.
Besides that, Bill's Archery in Pearl has good service. Their elevated shooting range is good, and although it's covered, it's outside and pretty hot.

Well, before I moved, I was at Bill's Archery in pearl all the time. They are good guys and do good work. It is nice to go fling some arrows durring lunch in the AC.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

i'm personally scared to get anything from anybody in any bow shop. I think the next bow i get i will go to hadad's in vicksburg and talk to robbie behind the counter.
He knows what he is doing and i think i can trust him if i talk to him a little and let him know that i chose him over all the other folks who supposedly run bowshops.
i have heard crazy stories...sites put on upside down, wrong spine arrows, field tips 125 grain but shooting 100 grain broadheads. ,,etc. etc.
I have heard good things about bills archery.
try that first.

I figured you might say something like that, being you're from that area and asking about bow shops. But don't judge a book by it's cover. Joe is a part owner of the store, not a part-time high-schooler, and if there's ever a problem Joe will take care of it, no questions asked. I would trust him w/ my wife,,er,,i mean,,,my life.
No really, my wife too. He's a fine christian man w/ very good ethics.
And Bill's Archery is down Pearson Rd. (South of the interstate) approx. 1 mile on the RIGHT.

Go south on pearson till it takes a hard left and go straight (right turn). As soon as you get on that road take the imediate right. Little cynderblock building on the left. They have a outdoor elivated range too. it's like 4 bucks an hour to shoot. Prices on service is reasonable but i bought my bow there too. Might be a little more if you bought it some where else. Not real sure.
All of those guys know what they are doing.
