I was feeling sad!

Postby laduck » Sun Aug 18, 2002 11:12 am

 I was feeling pretty low after reading all of the reports about the number of ducks for this fall. Then I thought of something  In the past years when the numbers were low, I had some real good times and some great hunts. It is not the number of ducks, but the weather that will come this fall. If the weather gets right, we will have all kinds of ducks. I will be an optimist and believe that we will get the weather we need to have a real good year. Jack

The duck #s don't mean much. The days afield make me happy. Duck season then goose season make for a wonderful winter. :) :D :D

I'm feeling sad because I've got a sick 7 year old baby girl. I can't get out and work on a duck hole. All she feels like doing is sleeping. She has started to feel better this evening. Hopefully she will be well by Monday. :(
