so Bertman is Ad and was once the successful coach of a team. A new coach does well but doesn't live up to the lofty expectation of the cult heroish ex coach who just so happens to be he boss. The coach gets canned.

Man this is nothing new in this league, but its got J. Frank Broyles all over it. :shock:

Speaking of Frank, I'm hearing that if Arkansas sputters in the first half of the season this year, that ol Frank will fire Nutt, come out of coaching semi-retirement, and assume the head coaching duties as interim coach for the remainder of the season, and perhaps beyond if successful.
