say guys..

why is there the possibilty that a super regional championship game will be played on a monday.. that just seems silly to me ..

first off why not just stick with the usual fri, sat, sun deal.. i mean if it aint broke why f with it...

plus one other obvious factor... say um and the canes go to a monday game.. while i'm sure that there will be a decent crowd or good crowd.. theres no way it will be anywhere as big as it could be if the championship game was played on a weekend day... seems to me that in the event a game is played on monday.. that it takes away some of the home field advantage!!

thoughts .. ponderings.. suggestions.. girl friends phone number..

UM did not have any choice ---- NCAA and tv contracts decided the game dates and starting times of 6:00pm.

I will be there for all three games, if a third game is necessary. I can leave work a little early Monday, and make it to Oxford by 6:00pm.

I don't think playing on Monday will hurt the crowd that much at all. Any fans that attend Sat. and Sun., but can't attend Monday, will likely be replaced by fans who will take advantage of some available tickets.

Hopefully, the Rebs will take care of business in two straight games, making the Monday game unnecessary. :D

Drakeshead, I don't need no stinking tickets. Gonna pay my $12 and sit out in the outfield area with my cooler of beer and BBQ hot wings. Come on over. Get there early and be loud and obnoxious. :lol:

I'm looking forward to it. My son (Po Monk Jr.) is going to be in town and
I plan to join him in the outfield somewhere.
