1990 Honda 300 4x4, What is it worth?

Postby hdp17 » Mon Jun 05, 2006 7:25 pm

I was wondering if yall know what a 1990 Honda 300 4x4 in great shape for 1990 and runs great would be worth. I drove it the other day and it did not have any problem starting on the first try. The guy told me to make him an offer, what would it be worth. Any ideas? Thanks alot.

Sold a 1990 300 last year in pretty rough looking shape (ran well) for $1800.

The Honda 300 is about the toughest bike ever made. There's alot of talk around that Honda stopped making them due to their reliability. I know a number of people that have 300s and 0 problems even with the abuse of trail riding.

Maybe start with $15-00 to $1600 and work your way up to $1800-$2000. I wouldn't pay more than $2000 though. Start even lower than that if you want to. It's on you to make a good deal.

$1500. No more than $2000 if it is in REALLY good shape.

Eventually stuff will start to tear up on a 15 year old wheeler.

Those are probably one of the best models ever made. I've had 3-4 of them with ZERO problems. Then I got the bug to move to bigger CCs. Wish I still had a 300 though. They are a good size and weight ratio. Very very hard to get stuck to a point where you can't just push it off or out.

Yeah you screwed yourself. Whomever bought it for a grand, would of likely bought a couple more if available. Hell, I would of came out and bought some too.

Honda 300s are like Jeeps. They are gold mines and everybody wants one.

Ive got a 92 and 93 honda 300. I just spent like 250 for each to get some much needed basic maintenence done before last season. Put them thru hell this year, they are really great machines.
