OOOLE', OLE', OLE', OLEEE'.......

Got six pork shoulders and Momma's whippin' up some of that sauce she does for all the folks comin' over to watch USA/Italy. Gonna be a tough match fo sho' but....everybody laces up their boots one at a time.

U.S. got hosed with their group. Czech Republic and Italy? WTF!!!???? By the time we get to Ghana, we could easily be eliminated already. But who knows, this U.S. team is very talented but has issues in the final third. Definitely need someone to step up and become an honest to God killer in the opponent's box. Beasley's shown it, but I look for him to share playing time with Bobby Convey who appears to be the best we've got for lobbing crosses in front the goal. Landon Donovan is always dangerous, but is more of set-up man. Maybe with Reyna in the lineup, Bruce Arena will free up Donovan, easily our best player with the ball at his feet, to settle into a more attacking role. BUT, if the U.S. is gonna score a lot of goals, Brian McBride simply HAS to have a brilliant tournament. Fourtunately, he seems to be getting better with age.

Rebelduckaholic, can Madison beat you one v. one yet? And yeah, I may not stay up and watch every game live, but they're all getting digitally recorded. Dad went and bought a DVR just for the World Cup. Oooohhhh....the beautiful game, I can hardly wait.

Damn Europeans. They want everybody to believe they're all light years ahead of us with their progressive thinking and cars that fit on top of a pool table, but then, they throw bananas at soccer players, very good soccer players. And that's when they're not burning something because they didn't win. Or they did win. F em. If a European team wins another World Cup ever, it'll be too soon. They're boring to watch and act like a bunch of damn children when you do. Ah, thank goodness for South America.

Well I have to agree with you with everything you've commented on here , but, I will be the the first one to cheer if Italia do well. US, us too I won't ever cheer against our boys and I want us to win our first cup as bad as our guys want it.

Yes Italy was on that show on, I think it was HBO's Real Sports where the racial incidents where being brought to light.

But, padafamilia. Wars have been put on hold for soccer matches and the Azzuri has a good chance of doing it this time. Probably better than USA does, but Italy v. USA or group E in general, I'm happy as long as one of the aforementioned teams come out on top.

The sports talk show host up here pretty much summed it up for me.

I'd rather listen to Jimmy Dykes (ESPN personality and local) interview a dog than to watch that crap.

So get the f**k out. I'd rather watch a dog eat his own turds than hear about the inbreds in hot tubs at an Arkansas game, but I didn't get much choice did I?
