Elon University is a 1-AA school from outside of Greensboro, NC. They play in the Southern Conference, which also includes Georgia Southern, Citadel, Furman, and Appalachian State (among others). Lest you think a 1-AA school is going to be a pushover, the Southern Conference is a pretty damned tough baseball conference.
They're riding a pretty good streak, winning 20 of their last 25. The Dogs drew a tough regional, but that's what happens when you're Team 64.

ha, good point, but i would prolly go with central private instead, hell, last years central private team and state would really be a good game.........
If it wasn't for bad luck then i would have no luck at all........

the academy overall baseball tourney, this is a new deal?? how long they been doin this?? who won it this year?? elon college?? bwabwaaa
j/k elon prolly got a pitcher thats got a 1.23 era and a 12-1 record and throws lots of strikes.. if you can get ahead of msu's hitters then we will stuggle mightly to score 4-5 runs..
