well the NCAA made LT leave the room when they were considering MSU as this is mandantory if a member of the ele4ction comm. team is being talked about. The bottom line is State got in and LSU didn't, I am not saying we deserved it or that LSU didn't deserve it but whats done is done and nothing can be changed now. I remember a few years ago when if you didn't make your conference tourny you didn't make a regional

wow...... i go to the lake and come back to all of this
First, I had absolutely no problem with MSU making the field, just felt as though if MSU was going to make it, as well as many other teams, LSU deserved a shot too, especially pertaining to attendence figures, etc.
2nd, I was kidding about LT. Do i think having him on the committee helps MSU and most SEC teams out ? of course, and i'm glad he's there, we are the premiere baseball conference in the nation. Do i think someone else could head the committee better ? i don't know, but it would be interesting to see what would happen to it with bertman at it's head.........

i will say this..... a few years ago, an Ole Miss team with 37 wins was told that no team that did not qualify for the SEC tournament in that particular year would make it into the NCAA tournament.... i do believe it was the head of the committee at that time who made this comment as well....

I remember when you had to make your conf. tourny to make it to a regional and yes LSU did deserve(sp?) to make a regional and I wish that would have b/c that would help the SEC out, b/c the more teams we have in it the better our conference looks but whats done is done and nothing can be done about it

IMO, LSU did not deserved to go anyway. Should they have gone before some of the other schools that did? You could argue that point forever.
It's simple, If they take care of business on the diamond, You dont have to put it in the hands of someone else.
This is not a good LSU basball team. IMO, Smoke needs to resign.
