i watched the oscar de-la-hoya fight the other night..

Nothing like watching two cheeseburgers beat each others' brains in. Used to watch it all the time with my granddad but kind of grew out of it. Watched Johnny Knoxville get "concussed" by Butterbean on Jackass the Movie.

what's up bigwater. i am a huge boxing fan and i believe i was robbed. majorga(sp) had way too much hype going into that fight. of course that is what they are all about to generate money is the hype. anyway i bet on majorga(obviously). i like a guy that smokes 2-3 packs a day and can still whip ass. he had a cigarette in the limo on the way to the fight. they said he only smokes 4-5 cigs a day while training. and the other reason that i bet on him is i can not put my money on a person that has a latino ballad singing record deal. damn "BEARDED CLAM"........cat.

big i missed the fight but I am a De la Hoya fan. I was once an amatuer boxer fought out of Orlando Fl, Ft Eustus,Va and very short time at a local gym in Jackson before giving it all up. While fighting I ended up with a 49-4-1 record with two of the loses (1992) coming to a guy named Julian Wheeler that fought out of Virginia for the Navy. Really feel bad loosing to a sailor :oops:

but he kicked my booty both times on points and went on to The olympic trials and I came home.

I laughed when I heard about all of the BS that Mayorga was saying and doing trying anything to get into De La hoyas head but Oscar was by far the better fighter. I hope that he hangs up the gloves but I got a sense that he wants a try at Mayweather Jr :shock:

. If that happens I sure would hate to be Mayweather Sr. but we wll see soon :!:

yea oscar kicked his mayorga's booty real good... oscar won every round and had him in trouble early on...

i thought oscar was getting to old and soft to fight.. guess i was wrong
