GUNS & NAMES YOU CALL 'EM

Since everybody is giving boat names and telling their labs' names, I thought everybody might want to tell what kind of gun they shoot and the "affectionate" name they may call it. I'll start it off - my baby is my Browning Citori Satin Hunter and I call it the "Waterfowl Widowmaker".

My Benelli Nova is black from stem to stern including a great Cabela's recoil pad. It therefore is the "BLACK TERMINATOR". My son and I are going to kill the heck out of some fast-flying sheets with it this weekend. They won't have orange feet, but if fact, they are orange all over. Most all of us Seminoles like to shoot at them swamp lizards wearing orange anyway. [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]

Dixie Boy, do you have the Onyx with the 3.5" chambers or just the 3"? I have one of the 3" guns that I still like to shoot every now and then with light loads at doves. Beretta makes some sweet shotguns. I wish they had not come out with the bargain basement versions like the "essential."

Because I also preditor hunt; beaver while duck hunting. I have a Kassnar 10 ga. SXS with 32" full choke barrels. My buddy named it Puff The Dragon after I smoked a big beaver at about 60 yards with a 2.0z load of nickle ones. ( Prior to the steel mandate.)
I love the smell of burnt powder in the morning.
