DEGA

Postby Deltamud77 » Tue Apr 25, 2006 8:34 am

Who is going and who is going to win? I am going to miss this spring unfortunately. I think Smoke or Jimmy Johnson will win the race unfortunately. By the way, ESPN reported that Junior will sport a black #8 this weekend that will look very similar to his father's car.

Well, we won't have to worry about Lil' E winning another superspeedway race ever again since Waltrip decided to stop being his blocking beyotch and went to another team.

I am not a conspriracy theorist but don't be suprised if E Jr. wins this weekend since it is Big E's would be birthday and his hall of fame induction weekend. NASCAR is all about the drama and story line sometimes. (note: I am not saying it will be rigged). Things like this tend to workout in sports from time to time.

Do not look for Little E to wear the "3" anytime soon. According to several reports Theresa says "noone" will sport Big E's car again......seems like if I were Richard Childress and it was my team.....i would do what I wanted....it has been long enough......I for one am not an Earnhardt fan but it would be cool to see Little E in the number 3 ride!!!

I don't see why he should drive the #3 car. He'll never be able to live up to what his dad did in that car on any racetrack. They should leave well enough alone and let Lil' E continue to lose in his #8. It's doesn't matter if the paint scheme changes, or the number changes...........you still have a driver that can't win a race unless his teammate is blocking everyone else.

I know it is a long shot, but my sentimental favorite to win this weekend is Labonte.. He will be sporting a retro STP paint scheme.. He actually said, "Bring it on," when asked about Talladega. The boy is all fired up.

I must say Jr has shaped up to be a decent guy. Compared to Kurt Busch, Biffle, Harvick and Stewart he has WAY more class and manners.

Having said that, I'd like to see him sport the black 3. He'd do the old man proud I'm sure.

Winkler, good point. Lebonte is a nice guy who deserves another trip to victory lane. Can you imagine the crowd roar if that blue 43 won...

Finally a good day for the 24 team. Thankfully there are road courses and plate races still in NASCAR.

Speaking of restrictor plates, let's head for Daytone Beach! 8)

Pretty good race there....They kept saying Terry was going to catch Jeff, just didn't see that happening... It would have been cool to see Terry win, but I don't think he had the car to beat Gordon... By the way, props to Newman for not taking Terry out.. He show great respect and patients there at the end..
