Gumbo you sure are talking a lot of hyppe about the football program when the season is a long ways away and really have no clue how they are going to be. They don't even have an experienced QB, i beleive it was just a couple of weeks ago you where saying the same stuff about the baseball them and what have they done.

Your right we suck so bad in baseball that Baseball America is already projecting whos going to be in our regional they forsee us hosting and currently ranked 13th and moving up in the conference. This weekend we will have three ames with attendence over 9,000 for each game, mid 80's and sunny

Casey Dick did allright at the end of the season and gained some very valuable experience as a true freshman and he returns with the best back field in the league and the reemergence of a passing attack. The best news of all is that The Testicle is not calling the plays anymore, hired a nFL offensive co for the booth and a OC thats hass some imagination but what Malzahn has brought to the table is an incredible work ethic and will not accept excuses for failing to do whats expected of you, the players are publically excited abut whats going down and are believing in the new system. after the debacle at USC last year, the first real game under a totally new defensive system, they got better evey week and they made sure they did there part to give us opportunities to win. the Georgia and LSU game were winnable but hte lack of a vertical passing attack was the downfall. Are we going to win the west, no, I don't think yet. But, I will say this one more time, its not the same Ark team you've seen in the past.

They go 8-4 and watch out the next year.

Kind of like my annual rosy pre-season predictions. BUT, after being burned the last couple of years, my red and blue glasses are getting a little clearer. Reality is peeking through the red and blue haze. Come August, I will have my fearless preseason predictions. And by then, Big Gumbo will be predicting a national title for the Piggies. Its a family tradition.
